Can I Get a Lash Lift If I Wear Glasses or Contact Lenses?

If you wear contact lenses

We recommend taking your contact lenses out before the treatment and bringing glasses or a lens case to store them during the appointment. Your eyes stay closed throughout the whole process, so there’s no direct contact between the lenses and the products used, but it’s simply more comfortable to work without them. You can put them back in as normal once the appointment is over.

If you wear glasses

There’s no issue at all. In fact, many clients who wear glasses choose lash lifting precisely because it enhances the eyes without needing mascara, even with prescription lenses in the way.

What to expect during the appointment

• Let us know if you wear contact lenses when you arrive, so you can store them comfortably during the treatment.
• Your eyes stay closed with a silicone shield placed over the eyelid throughout the whole process.
• You don’t need to remove your prescription glasses outside of the appointment itself — only your contact lenses.

Lash lifting is fully compatible with both glasses and contact lenses — the only extra step is taking your lenses out before we begin.

After the appointment

You can put your contact lenses back in without any problem once the treatment is finished, though if your eyes feel a little sensitive right afterwards, waiting a little while before putting them in tends to be more comfortable.
